Miniature terret fragment Fragment of a cast copper alloy miniature terret. This fragment consists of a short projection of rectangular-sectioned strap bar, separated from a small segment of the circular-sectioned terret ring by a disc-shaped terminal in a perpendicular plane. The edge of this disc is decorated with an incised line around the circumference. Parallels: There are no direct parallels from the related 1843 hoard, but similar examples are known locally, see for example the miniature terret from Honley (M. 52).Measurements: Diameter of the terret ring: 4.31mm, diameter of disc: 9.89mm; Length: 23.1mm; weight: 2.9g
