An incomplete cast copper alloy miniature two-handled vessel or flask of Medieval date (c. AD 1066 - c. AD 1300). The flask is oval in cross-section, flaring towards what would have been a rounded base which has been broken away by an old break. There are two D shaped lugs with circular perforations at the neck of the vessel, one of which is damaged.The incomplete vessel is 25.6mm high and 27.8mm wide at the point of the break. The neck opening is 21.4mm long and 16.2mm wide. The whole object weighs 11.28 grams.This example is Medieval in date, with parallels suggesting a possible date range of the 11th to 13th centuries AD.
