Rectangular Medieval sheet strap-plate, with white-metal coating on front face, two rivet holes and a central round aperture. Decorated with engraved longitudinal, transverse and oblique lines. Rocker-arm engraving fills four triangular spaces between lines. 28.5 x 12mm. cf. Dress Accessories figure 141. 14th century.
