An incomplete cast copper alloy miniature radiate-headed brooch. The semi-circular headplate has a small knob projecting from its top edge, and is decorated with a zone of raised beading above a plain central panel. The bow is oval in plan, with transverse lines at its upper and lower junctions. The incomplete footplate has a perforation (one of which is incomplete) at each upper corner, and the upper part of a panel of linear decoration is visible. An incomplete lug for the spring and a catchplate survive on the reverse, which is encrusted with iron corrosion.
