Cast copper alloy miniature flat axe. The axe is sub-rectangular in cross-section and tapers gently from the flared cutting edge to the narrowed butt. The axe is covered with a mid-brown surface patina; where the core is exposed such as along the cutting edge, the bronze is a light green colour indicating active corrosion.Other miniature flat axes are recorded on the Portable Antiquities Scheme database as SOMDOR-8A1F3, NMS592, and SF6514
