A miniature medieval brooch, circular in shape and decorated by sub-spherical bosses, each ornamented with small circular punches. The pin rests between four of these bosses and is intact, though slightly bent out of shape.The brooch is silver-gilt, the gilding retained in particular around the punch-marks on the individual bosses. It dates from the thirteenth century.
