Copper alloy probable Toy Vessel fragment. Cast foot from a tiny cauldron, tapering from a flat foot and with a ridge on its outer surface, broken below its putative junction with a vessel. This appears to be a miniature version of a common medieval object class, though it lacks sooting so was probably not used on a hearth. The form suggests an animal paw with three pads. Suggested date: Medieval, 1200-1500.Height (in use): 12.9mm, Width: 14.9mm, Thickness: 9.3mm, Weight: 6.8gms.
