Copper alloy Strap Fitting. Cast sub-rectangular strap loop with a blunt spike of length 3.5mm projecting from its shortest outer edge. This is a miniature version of a common later medieval form of loop. Suggested date: Medieval, 1350-1400.Length: 14.6mm, Width: 11.8mm, Thickness: 2.2mm, Weight: 0.81gms.
