Incomplete late Iron Age to early Roman copper alloy miniature terret. A boss at both ends of the bar and three ovoid projections on the exterior of the ring bear broad resemblance to the decorative features of various forms of full-sized terret (Hutcheson 2004, 115-9 and 132-4, nos. 97 - 117). The projections appear to be empty bezels, though the top edges of all three are missing. That in the middle of the top is much larger than the other two. At its base a neat round hole passes through to the ring. Part of its side is also missing. Where intact there are two shallow moulded grooves. No close parallel has been noted, and there is no indication as to what sort of settings were held in the bezels. Width 16.5mm.
