An incomplete copper alloy, miniature terret ring of probable Late Iron Age to Early Roman dating (100 BC to 100 AD).Around 50% of the terret ring is present, consisting of the narrow strap bar and part of the sides. The sides have a circular cross section. A narrowed and recessed bar is present at the bottom of the terret ring. Oval collars are present at either side of the strap bar. The sides of the terret initially curve away from the strap bar. The ends of the terrets demonstrate old, predepositational breaks.It measures 15.8 mm tall, 22.8 mm wide and 6.4 mm thick. It weighs 3.2 g.The terret is a mid green colour, with an even surface patina.
