A cast copper alloy miniature Roman brooch, of a simple type. The brooch has a cylinder forming the wings. They are decorated with collars. On the reverse of the wings there is a slot for the pin to sit in. The top end of the pin can be seen in situ, the rest of the pin has broken off. The bow is simple and tapers to the foot. The foot has broken off and the catchplate is damaged. The metal is pitted and has a mid brownish-green colour. This brooch dates to the 1st – 2nd Century.
