An incomplete copper alloy toy miniature cannon of late post-medieval date. The toy is comprised of a circular barrel, or cascable, which tapers in diameter from the cascable to the muzzle. The cascable end is fluted with a raised rim from which a rounded neck extends terminating in a projecting knop at the end. The neck has two circumferential incised rings. Two trunnions, or basal lugs, for attachment to a block or stock project midway along the barrel, one of which is broken, and are set on a slightly raised ridge. A double banded incised collar is present between the trunnions and the cascable end. From here the muzzle end extends terminating in a flared opening. The muzzle is preceded by a raised band and inscied collar.The metal has a mid-brownish-green patina and is worn.
