Margit Révész was born in 1885 in Bácsfeketehegy (today Serbia), where her father worked as a district doctor. In 1909, she graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Budapest as a neurologist. In 1911, at the age of twenty-five, she opened her own children's sanatorium and a forest school in Zugliget, at 18 Remete Road. The sanatorium "cured nervous, underdeveloped, difficult-to-treat young people." Margit Révész with her first husband dr. Mihály Dósay started the "Szani" - as they called it - but the man died early. She later remarried, to dr. József Hrabovszky, who also participated in the work of the institute. The photographs in the collection of Fortepan were also taken here in the "Szani" about the children and the family.
