Black and white photography, inside, photo studio, 1959. Breast piece, quarter profile on the right - A slim older gentleman between 50 and 60 years, almost shot head-on, slightly oblique to the left in front of the camera, with very straight shoulders. He looks straight to his left. His gaze is serious, somewhat sunk. Mr. Schmidt wears an open, dark jacket with needle band. Among them a black buttoned vest, a white shirt and a well-patterned slips.
