Black and white photography, inside, photo studio, 1956 Chest piece, sitting, three-quarter profile on the left - an older, tall and stately gentleman, 56 years old, taken from the front, the right shoulder slightly higher. The arms are close to the body. He turns his head to the right and looks seriously, a little thoughtfully to the right. Karl Heinz Ruppel wears a black, closed jacket with wide lapels. Among them a white shirt and a colored slips of a shiny fabric (silk?), with small geometric patterns. His long head is bare on the sides except for a few white hair. He wears a white Oberlippenbärtchen. In the background there is an indistinctly bright wall. Bes. Feature: Karl Heinz Ruppel was a theater and literary critic who worked for the Köllnen Zeitung in Berlin from 1928 to 1944. (Wikipedia) Ch. K.
