A view of the remains of Ballymount Castle, Co. Dublin; two men, one carrying a stick and the other carrying a basket, walk on a path leading towards a gate-tower giving access to the ruins a house of considerable size seen in the background. This house was built in the seventeenth century by Sir William Parsons.
