On the back of a charcoal drawing historically called “Maister Lauvx,” which Heller was able to purchase, there is another portrait of an unknown. It shows the head of a man with a hat in his left profile. Since the Bamberg collector considered the drawing, now attributed to Hans Schwarz, to be a work of Dürer, it was included in his Dürer publication, which was published from 1827 (see Heller Dürer 1827, II.21.14). Heller remarked, “On the back is a cut, far prettier drawn head.”
