The artist made a “Portrait of Albrecht Dürer.” It shows the master of Nuremberg as a half-figure with long and curled hair falling down to the fur collar of his coat. His gaze rests firmly on the viewer. The depicted is covered upwards by decoratively designed winding. The background is the city of Nuremberg, which is recognizable by the Kaiserburg and the churches. In 1823 it served as a frontispiece for the “Life mirror for German youth” published in Berlin, from which a specimen with Heller’s estate passed into the estate of the Royal Library (now JH.L.g.o.49 (1 of the State Library Bamberg).
