Drawing artist Emilie Schubert is to be found in the family environment of the depicted. The two other portrait depictions of the same hand allow us to think of a group of family portraits. The attribution to Emilie Schubert was made on the basis of two similar drawings signed in the clip, which were also raised similarly. We know only three pastels of Emilie Schubert dated 1840 and 1841 and do not know if she could have developed a greater talent under longer or more elaborate guidance. It cannot be detected in exhibition catalogs. A relationship with the painter Franz August Schubert (born 1806 in Berlin, died 1893) is also possible, but also not to be confirmed by evidence. Ancient possession of the Märkisches Museum. Referred to re. u. In the cut (with brown chalk) "E. Schubert/1841, label on the back, which shows the “Goldrahmen factory of C. B. Wurtzel in Berlin, Mohrenstraße No. 6.”
