Wimbledon Champion in Action--The new Wimbledon singles champion, Frank Sedgman of Australia, strains for a backhand shot against his fellow countryman, Mervyn Rose, in semi-final match at Wimbledon, England, July 2. He whipped Rose, 6-4, 6-4, 7-5. In today's final match he downed Jaroslav Drobny of Egypt, 4-6, 6-2, 6-3, 6-2 to notch his first Wimbledon title. Sedgman already holds the United States singles tennis title.
