Wilmington, Calif. -- Disturbance At Refinery Gates -- National Maritime Union members, picketing at the Texaco refinery near Wilmington, Calif., shove on a car owned by refinery worker as he leaves the plant yesterday. The incident was part of the six-day nationwide maritime strike. The picketing is in protest against U.S. firms flying foreign flags but not meeting U.S. standards of pay. The NMU chargers Texaco operates 45 ships under the Liberian flag and only 12 under the American flag.
