Discusses Resignation – With his thumbs locked in his vest, John G. Adams, a central figure in the McCarthy-Army dispute last year, discusses his resignation today as Army General Counsel. His resignation was announced by Army Secretary Robert Stevens who said it will be effective March 31. Adams said in his letter of resignation that the “Projects which have occupied my attention are now well advanced and I therefore would like to leave my post.”
