A procession advances from the distance down the street in Ronda, illuminated by electric searchlights, and bright shop windows of the near side of the street, the buildings on that side being themselves in shadow. Most persons walking in the procession wear high hoods. A detached group carrying a banner with a cross on it precedes the rest. There is a stormy sky with some moonlight showing through the clouds. The subject is ruled off by a vertical line, to left of which is a blank strip, 72 mm. wide, containing only a few trial strokes made with the drypoint near the top. The subject is already a approximately finished, but there is no shading on the street in the foreground except a few definite, detached strokes.
