Pitman, N.J. - Charles W. Wells, 49, Pitman, N.J. industrial analyst was shot and killed in his home here early today. His wife, Margaret (right), is being held on a charge of murder. Guy E. Lee, Gloucester County district attorney said Mrs. Wells told him she did not mean to kill her husband. According to Lee she said she thought the gun was unloaded and only meant to frighten him. Lee said the shooting was the climax of a family argument.
