Mrs. Dorothy Burns, 34, widow accused of fatal "dare" shooting of her policeman husband last June 23rd in shown as she collapsed in tears on the witness stand at a coroner's inquest today. She is aided by her attorney, Rupert Crittenden. The widow, after a sordid recital of nearly two years of repeated beatings at her husband's hands, and the two events of the night of June 23rd when she accepted her husband's "dare" to shoot him with his service revolver, was unable to continue her testimony. She has been booked on charges of suspicion of manslaughter.
