Sought in slaying

Frederick Benjamin Thompson, seen in a police photo is being sought in the Sept. 29 slaying of Mrs. Dorothy Beck Palmer. Mrs. Palmer, 57, was stabbed to death in her home in Harding Township, N.J. Police said Thompson, 35, worked on her estate previously as a tree trimmer. Police also said he was seen in nearby Morristown the morning of her slaying, just two days after his release from prison.
