Where New Gold "Strike" was Made. Here's an interior view of the "Silver Queen" mine, 500 feet from the top, where a rich gold-bearing ledge has been found. The mine, on Soledad Mountain at Mojave, Calif., now is the center of a new "Gold Rush" from all parts of the west. More than $3,000,000 has been offered for the mine, but the owners refuse to accept. In this picture, taken Dec 3, workmen are shown loading one of the cars with some of the "Pay Dirt".
