Washington – No Hit Spoilers – Washington Outfielders Chuck Hinton, left, and Don Lock, right, let off steam tonight in the dressing room after they spoiled Chicago Pitcher Joel Horlen’s bid for a no-hitter and beat the White Sox 2-1 in the ninth inning. Horlen did not give up a hit until Hinton singled with one out in the ninth – and with two out Lock smacked a home run to give Washington the victory. Steve Ridzik who pitched six-hit ball for the game is at center.
