Kay Ellis, 58, of San Mateo, Calif., who was arrested on neighbor's complaints that she frequently appeared in the nude beside her backyard pool, is shown as she appeared in court yesterday. Mrs. Ellis claims she has a perfect right to take sunbaths in the nude as long as she stays in the privacy of her own backyard. She said her pool is surrounded by a six-foot fence and, "I'd gladly make it higher if the city could let me."
