Police today renewed their search for Mrs. Marian Berger (left), wife of a factory personnel manager, while subjecting John F. Sernsky (right), 38-year-old shipping clerk whom they booked on suspicion of murder, to further questioning. Police Capt. Thad Brown said Sernsky admitted striking Mrs. Berger with a tire iron as they sat in his car, but denied he had killed her and refused to say what happened to her afterwards.
