Warner System Out at Stanford--Stanford University football teams, long coached in the Warner system, will abandon that style of play this fall. "I'm going to start my own system," Clark D. Shaughnessy (above), said in reply to a query. The former University of Chicago coach, arrived here today, and was honored at a luncheon given by football writers, whom he is shown addressing.

Broadway Comedian Joey Adams will appear in Boston as Master of Ceremonies of the spectacular $25,000 March of Dimes Television Auction which will be broadcast from the Sherry Biltmore Hotel over WHDH-TV, Channel 5 from 2 p.m. until sign-off at 1 a.m. on Saturday, January 24th. TViewers will be able to bid by phone for fabulous merchandise - including automobiles, puppies, furs, boats, swimming pools, toys and hundreds of other items to be “knocked down” over the television screen. All proceeds of the show go to the March of Dimes.
