Miss Amelia Anthony, of Whiteface, Texas, founder and director of Girlstown, U.S.A., a home for girls from broken families, chosen today "Woman of 1953" by a six-woman jury, from outstanding national women's organizations, will be presented to the American public on the Bob Hope TV Show, Tuesday, Feb. 16.. She will be accompanied by Mrs. Oscar Ahlgren, president of the General Federation of Women's Clubs.
