Today, police said her son, Tibor, 29, admitted lashing her with a four-foot leather and cane whip, which a detective (foreground) is holding. Right- Tibor Foldvary (right) is shown in a car with a detective holding the whip allegedly used. Tibor and his sister, Mary, 23, allege their mother was attempting to poison them. Dr. Foldvary had been arrested on charges of illegally hoarding gold bullion and is at liberty in $500 bail. Her condition at Morrisania Hospital was described as "fair."
