Walter Brennan Hits the Saddle Again -- This Time on TV. Three-time "Oscar" winner Walter Brennan saddles up again, this time for an infrequent TV appearance, when he stars as "The Brush Roper" under Stuart Heisler's direction on Screen Directors Playhouse Wednesday, November 23, at 8 P.M. (EST) over the NBC-TV network. Brennan portrays a doughty old cowhand who shows younger cowboys what it is to be a champion roper when danger threatens.
