Victim of hotel slaying and suspect

The battered body of a 22-year-old woman was found sprawled across the bed in a Chicago hotel room today and police seized for questioning a truck driver who had registered for the room. the woman was Mrs. June Vesley Poltes, (left) who was seen earlier last night drinking at the hotel bar. the truck driver, James Williams, 29, alias jimmy Falbo, (right) in photo at right is shown being questioned by a police officer after he was taken into custody.
