$200,000 Coffee Cup on Display in Danvers Drug Store Danvers-The Ropes drug store in Danvers square had a new exhibit today on top of the cash register-one of the coffee cups used by the armored car guards who were at the soda fountain while their truck was being looted of $681,000 in cash. The cup has a red ribbon around the handle and bears a sign reading: $200,000 cup--A." Anita Savoie, the counter girl who served the trio, revealed that only two of the guards had coffee. The third had a vanilla milk shake. One of the coffee-drinking guards ordered a cup with the comment: "This ought to keep me awake.
