Walkout That Started Subway Strike - Motormen of the BMT division of the New York subway walk off job Coney Island depot today after suspension of three fellow members of the Motormen's Benevolent Association was not lifted. The men were suspended when they declined to take supervisory personnel on practice runs on the rapid transit system. At left is Theodore Loos, president of the Motormen's Benevolent Association.
