Snake of Destruction--Appearing like a snake coming from the storm clouds overhead, a tornado funnel dips to the ground on outskirts of the Northern Indiana town of Nappanee yesterday afternoon. The twister damaged homes and business establishments, but no deaths or injuries were reported. Nappanee is about 15 miles south of Elkhart. This picture was made by the Rev. Jack McGlasson, minister of the Nappanee United Missionary Church.
