Smiling Through--Mrs. Marry Merry, who is confined in an iron lung at the General Hospital here for polio, smiles happily on her 23rd birthday as Nurse Jennie LeFehr shows her sponge rubber cushion which was presented to her. Mrs. Merry has another birthday coming up, too. Not her own, but that of the baby she is expecting four weeks from now. "It seems like I'm pretty helpless," she smiled through her mirror. " But really, I've an awful lot to do these days..."
