Smiling His Thanks is Eddie Thalacker, 14, of Westfield, Wis., as he receives a baseball from Milwaukee Braves players. They are first baseman Joe Adcock (right) and Del Rice, catcher (center). Presentation was made at Memorial Hospital, Waukesha, Wis. Eddie is one of 900 students who were en route to the Braves-Dodgers game when their train collided with a truck. Many were hospitalized.
