First leg won last year by Sigmund Ruud, who upon personal inspection of this trophy, Friday, February 18th., states that "this trophy is the most beautiful award ever offered to the skier for his efforts, that I have ever seen in the entire world." The trophy is forty five inches high, and a combination of silver and bronze. In order to retain permanent possession of this trophy a skier must win three championship meets on the sixty meter Olympic caliber ski jump hill at the Belknap Mountains Recreational Center in Gilford, N.H.
