Slain girl

Pretty Cathryn Knodel, 16, of Redlands, Calif., whose latter body was found this morning fifty miles east of here near the desert resort of Palm Springs. Cathryn left home last night to attend an open air concert at the Redlands Bowl and was reported missing or her father, Erwin Knodel, after she failed to return. The girls body was badly beaten about the head and she had apparently died from these injuries.
