Mrs. Dorothea Cornwell, above, 25-year-old Louisville, Ky., housewife, is the winner of the annual Redbook-Dodd, Mead Fiction Prize of $10,000 for her first novel, "They Dare Not Go A-Hunting." The novel, which is a psychological study of a mother-and-daughter relationship, will be published in the fall after appearing in Redbook. She is now at work on her second novel. Mrs. Cornwell was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., lived in Youngstown and Painesville, Ohio, before moving to Louisville.
