Georgia Cummins (above) 25-year-old saleswoman who was fatally shot and then thrown into the Calumet River by her rejected suitor. The alleged slayer, Nowfel Alex Habeeb, 46, of Chicago, was later shot to death by a Gary policeman after he had flagged down the police squad car and resisted the officer.
