Nancy McLennan, 27, (above), died in sequoia hospital at redwood, calif., today, the victim of four or five blows from a hammer and at least three knife wounds in the chest. Police Sgt. Anthony bell quoted Claire van horn, a 46-year-old Canadian from London, Ont., the woman's uncle, as admitting the slaying. Bell said van horn entered the police station with blood on his hands and gave himself up.
