Mrs. Lou Ellen Jones (above), 21, wife of an air force sergeant, was raped and strangled to death during a rainstorm yesterday at Panama City, Fla. Police said she apparently was surprised while washing to dishes. Her husband, S/Sgt. Joseph R. Jones, discovered her body when he returned home from Tyndall Air Force base. Mrs. Jones was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E.D. Pittman of Long Beach, Calif.
