Haden, Francis Seymour, 1818-1910 · [1878]
View of a creek that leads into the Thames at Windsor. There are trees and shrubs on either side of creek and buildings in the distance. Two shirtless boys are in the foreground at right, viewed from behind. Based on a preliminary charcoal and chalk drawing on pasteboard in LS. The drawing is annotated in graphite: "Seymour Haden. Done sitting on a railway bridge in bodily fear of train."
