
Bellows, George, 1882-1925 · 1923–1924
Francis Michael Byrne (1875-1923) was an actor who lived on East Eighteenth Street around the corner from the Bellows home in New York. He had a successful career as a leading man on the comedy stage. He died at age forty-eight at the Players Club, Gramercy Park, New York, a club that Bellows also frequented. (Mason)
