Sime Beats Murchison Again--Making it two out of three victories over Ira Murchison of Western Michigan, in the same evening Dave Sime, right, of Duke University is about to hit the finish line a yard ahead, in the 100 yard dash in the evening Star Games. Time for the event was 9.7 seconds. Earlier in the evening Murchison beat Sime at 70 yards, then Sime beat Murchison in the 80-yard sprint, setting a world record of 7.8 seconds. and beat him again in the 100. Murchison previously had not been defeated in 15 consecutive indoor meets.
