Signing Them Up For Life. “Cupid” Grant Munson, marriage license clerk of San Francisco, Calif., who stands but 5-foot 3-inches high, felt himself in strange company when John Greech, 46-year-old Oklahoma giant, standing 8-foot 6-inches tall, applied for a license to marry Miss Grace Carlisle, 18, 5-foot 6-inches and weighing 600 pounds. They will be married by superior judge Louis H. Ward, 5-foot 6-inches, the smallest superior judge in the state.
